Dear Committee Members,

I am pleased to learn of the upcoming Korean War 60th anniversary commemoration.

This particular anniversary is a significant one. As with my World War II generation, Korean War veterans are passing away in large numbers each day.
While the opportunity is still there, we should strive to thank those livingveterans for their heroic service. The 60th anniversary of the War is the perfect opportunity to express this gratitude.
Thank you for organizing this important event to honor the heroes who served in the Korean War - those still living and those who remain only in our hearts. It will be a special occasion indeed.
